Molly was born and raised in upstate New York. She graduated from Skidmore College with a Bachelor of Science in Theater. Outside of Skidmore, Molly has studied theater at the Moscow Art Theater School; the National Theater Institute in Waterford, CT; Shakespeare and Company in Lenox, MA; and Powerhouse Theater in Poughkeepsie, NY. She is currently working at the Powerhouse Training Program as the Assistant Company Manager and will soon be returning to the National Theater Institute, working as an Apprentice.
Molly loves physical theater and has trained in Droznin, Viewpoints, Suzuki, Stage Combat (unarmed with some rapier/broadsword), Clown, and Commedia Dell'Arte. She also has extensive training in Linklater voicework and is well-versed in Shakespeare, Chekhov and the Classics.
While at Skidmore, Molly performed in several Mainstage and Black Box productions, including The Penelopiad by Margaret Atwood, Hecuba by Marina Carr, The Orphan Sea by Caridad Svich, and most recently, Fragments by Edward Albee. She finished her college career with an independent performance of Clit Notes by Holly Hughes.
In addition to performing, Molly is a playwright. Her short play I Am/You Are had several readings at Skidmore during her college career. Most recently, her full-length play Light Green Moss was workshopped by Ruthless Nightingale Theater Company in New York City.
